Meet Charmaine
Counsellor & Founder | The Grounded Path Collective
Hello, I'm Charmaine. I believe one of the most important parts of counselling is feeling comfortable with the person sitting across from you. My approach is warm, compassionate and down-to-earth. I aim to create an environment where you feel able to speak openly, without judgement or pressure, and where you can simply be yourself. I don't believe counselling is about someone telling you how to live your life. Instead, I see it as a collaborative process . A space where you can explore your experiences, thoughts and emotions while feeling genuinely heard, understood and supported. Every person's story is different, which is why I tailor counselling to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you're navigating a particularly difficult period, adjusting to change, feeling a little lost, or simply wanting to understand yourself and your life more deeply, you are welcome here.
Our Philosophy
The Philosophy Behind The Grounded Path Collective: I created The Grounded Path Collective from the belief that wellbeing is about more than addressing one challenge in isolation. Our emotional, physical, social and personal wellbeing are interconnected, and sometimes finding our way forward can involve different forms of support, reflection, creativity and connection. The idea of being grounded is at the heart of the practice — finding a sense of stability within yourself, reconnecting with what matters to you and creating a stronger foundation from which to move forward. The path represents something equally important: there is no single or perfect way through life. Each person's journey is different, and our paths can change as we grow, experience loss, build relationships, face challenges and move through different stages of life. Ultimately, The Grounded Path Collective is about creating a place where people can feel supported through life's challenges, reconnect with themselves and discover their own path forward.
